Messing around with Photos

I took some photo's of Jay's banjo's the other week, and I have been thinking what to do with them, so I started up GIMP, an image editing program, which is free to download, and had a mess around with some photo's.

I like this one, because it looks very much like an x-ray.
The Framus Banjo is the top one in the photo.

This photo was a mistake, which I like, due to the lightness on the tention ring.

One of Jay's banjo is a 5 string, long neck with an open back. Its made by Framus in Germany. The framus company have an intresting history, that existed from 1946 until going bankrupt in 1975. Framus has been revived in 1995 and today is part of Warwick GmbH & Co Music Equipment KG in Markneukirchen (Germany).

Not only did Framus make Banjo's, they also made Guitars and Bass. For more infomation on the Vintage Framus instruments click here or you may like to viset there website for new instruments.
