Bristol is very well known for it's Graffiti and Street Art, it's something I have grown up seeing at Dean Lane Skate Park and many other area's of Bristol, Stoke's Croft, St Pauls, Easton just to name a few places. Some of the Best and well respected Street Artist have come from Bristol, and others come to Bristol just to paint.
When you have the like's of Inkie, Banksy, Cheo and many others brightening our city, it make's you smile, there is nothing better than walking into Dean Lane on a sunday afternoon and seeing someone paint a wall, for hours on end, its not someone tagging the wall, its a work of art, free art for people to enjoy.
It's not something that is knocked up in a few minuets for the sake of spraying a wall, these people take the time to draw scetchs of what they plan to do, they build of layers of paint, and are constantly stepping back from there work and checking it, they are perfectionist of there art form.
Dean Lane Skate Park and Jnt3 of the M32 are legal place's in Bristol where they can practise are perfect there Art form, so what cant we have more place's in Bristol?? If every subway, tunnel, and park had art like this wouldn't it make it you smile and cheer up your day?? Maybe Bristol City Council should get off there arse's and take a good look around our City and see what is out there and make more place legal, because if you look hard enough, you will find some truely amazing Art!!
